Small Quantity Lisianthus: ship week April 27
These are our extra lisianthus “plugs” (think little flower starts) that we are selling. Good wedding and event colors here. They will be available in mid- April for pick up and shipping. BUYER PAYS SHIPPING AND WE COLLECT WHEN WE GET YOUR BOX PACKED. Payment for shipping via Venmo and we MUST have a valid email..
They are very easy to grow. Generally animals will not bother them. (I’m looking at you rabbits! )
Selling lots of 25 for 30.00 and these are the long stemmed varieties farmers grow and florists use. NOT the short stemmed varieties... you might see at garden centers. Each stem will have multiple blooms and they look great in the vase as in the garden.
This is the longest lasting cut flower we grow and often last 10 plus days in the vase. Our plugs are dipped in a product that helps protect the roots and it IS PRICEY and a step even some growers don’t do. I never grow, or sell these plugs, without using it.
NOTE: This is the order of the pictures: Arena 3 Apricot, Corelli Sugoi Lavender, Rosanne 2 Terracotta, Voyage 2 Champagne, Voyage 2 First Love, Voyage 2 Rose Deep.
We usually use group 1 and 2 lisianthus for our early season plantings. They are generally ready in July (in Iowa) but of course depends on when you get them planted. Last season we had bloom clear into early fall and they look great with dahlias.
This is not a flower you want to hold in the tray very long. Please look at the post pinned to the top of my business fb page for planting directions.
If you decide to pick/harvest your flowers this summer you will likely get another “flush” of flowers in the fall. They are very easy to grow in mostly full sun.
These will be small plugs. All colors are limited and only selling a few lots of each color. We can’t combine shipping orders.
